About Lee

Lee spent her Queensland childhood swimming, bush picnicking, cuddling up to Australian wildlife, daydreaming and writing stories.

Then she became a developmental paediatrician to neurodiverse and disabled children, and still loves working with very young children.

Inspired by her patients and her love of Australia’s wildlife, oceans and red centre, she has returned to writing—creating narrative non-fiction, quirky informational fiction, and stories about overcoming challenges.

Lee is a globetrotting grannie, and lives in a house full of toys and books.
